The heavy weight champ of metaphysical movie documentaries, The Secret, has been almost single-handedly responsible for causing a mass-movement in what we like to call “inner world sleuthing.” It, for better or worse, has started to bring out the Sherlock Holmes of Spirituality from once uninterested individuals.
People, everywhere, more than ever, are now openly fascinated with life’s hidden dimensions. What once was thought of as a closed door, off-color form of self growth is now the cat’s meow. Where two forms of research once battled each other for supremacy, polls now show that over 75% agree that science and spirituality are two sides of the same coin.
The mindset is now: “How could we label something as true or valid without looking at or questioning what quantum-psychology and quantum physics is saying too?”
It’s common knowledge that our world has come to be understood through our physical senses. We’ve come to expect that the world-renowned scientists and doctors who find “proof” for theories and cures for diseases do so in a left-brain dominant way. The left brain is linear, rational, analytical, and linguistic. And, by golly, it won’t rest until it has figured out a way to make everything in life fit within the realm of the “completely knowable.”
But, who does the world-at-large lean on when something say, er, “semi-unexplainable” comes to existence in a BIG way?

I get it! It all makes sense. If we could all stay in the moment, we’d all be less involved with the negative influences people fear. They are an illusion of what could be, but never the reality of what is!

Wow so well said! Not only do we have to stay in the moment but we have to ACT on our beliefs and intentions. So many people just want to sit back and enjoy the benefits without doing any of the work. The power of intentions gives us creative solutions- being stuck on our past mentality prevents us from living in the presesnt. Physical emotional and chemical stressors inhibit us from achieving our full potential. It is time to break down the stressors so that we can not only live in the moment but be happy above and beyond to LIVE RIGHT NOW!
All is this is fine and good as long as it is accompanied by complete personal development which involves development of moral consciousness or ‘conscience’.

knowledge = understanding = new perception= new action = result. This cycle practiced in the now continues to recycle and manifests your reality. All you need to do is flip switch your mind to a moment in time that makes you feel good and apply the feeling to your present thoughts. My thoughts are on a White Flag Society and that people around the globe will surrender to making a difference on a pro- active basis.
Your beliefs create your thoughts that you act on that give you a result. Therefore change your beliefs gain new thoughts and the action you take will give you a positive result. Adopt an attitude of gratitude and go from there.
For the past two years I have been on a quest to understand the law of attraction, ever since reading a book called, “Excuse me, your life is waiting”. Along the way have seen certain evidences of how emotional thoughts actually seem to materalize events and how deliberate creation effectively alters our course. At moment a bit stuck on winning $10,000,000.00 lottery, as it has not manifested as of yet. I’ll keep you up to speed as to when it does.
George Orwell is alive through The Secret. I have been mesmerized by the powerful use of video advertising used by The Secret since I saw the first episode a few years ago. I thought it was masterful and entrancing then…and it is more so now!
Is the Secret the soma Orwell spoke of?
I guess I have the same question for The Secret that I have for the Fundamentalist Christians: Can only people who accept Christ thread the needle to the Kingdom of Heaven?
It seems that a majority of the less fortunate people in the world will be left out of this mostly white country club.

I choose to point out that The Secret Movie came out in full in March/06 on the Internet (where I watched it in the middle of the night) - not sure what he means by the “first episode” a “few years ago”. Perhaps he is referring to something else. Just like to keep the facts straight.

You know Eduardo your positive message is both encouraging and misleading. You might be more convincing if you slowed down to spell your words correctly and think about what you are saying more carefully. A biological fact like the seven year cycle of cells in the human body seems utterly irrelevent to the consideration of the volitional spirit and it’s self referential understanding. Phrases like “you must”, “if your one of these people” and “you’re wrong” are neither constructive nor conducive to greater spiritual understanding. Authoritarian-phrases and demands for submission to “any information” are more likely to put people off or at worst divide people into warring groups like the Sunni and Shia.
The law of attraction isn’t going to help anyone who isn’t looking for it, even a few highly successful people that I have spoken with have expressed no interest and perhaps that is because their understanding of reality whether it’s related to a god, or skeptically rationalized, or carefully constructed through observed social situations and their own genetics that they imagine makes thems successful and close minded to anything that might change the careful core beliefs about reality that carried them thus far.
Close minded especially after hearing the absurd irrational misleading claims like those professed on this forum . It’s not magic Eduardo, this isn’t the class for positivism 2.0, so slow your roll a little bit and try putting more thought into what is actually being taught. Best wishes in your studies.
If there are infinite possible variables in a day of life to create infinite possible experiences then how is it that some people can pretty much know what to expect when they wake up in the morning?
The value of this law of attraction program is the inspiration to creatively explore your infinite possibility, while reducing self defeating thought, dialog, and core negative beliefs. It’s ok to observe negativity in reality, but it’s not ok to define yourself by it or become attached to negative situations. Negative emotion is the bodies tool that leads us to understanding that provides the opportunity for greater balance peace and happiness. One of the speakers spoke about a creation story he wrote in which several bored and apparently all male gods created space to lose themselves in and have fun after tiring of being everywhere and knowing everything all the time. His message is that we are all pieces of the universe and their is no seperation. He says that the trend is that people want to believe that someone else is responsible for the universe, not themselves. Is it incorrect to look outside in some conceptual entity like “god” or “the universe” for a creative power to be the creative power for you? Or is it correct that should not define ourselves from observation of our past circumstances and actions because at that moment the universe is not ourselves? Or is it that all that we could be will always be our choice to create as we envision our end goal from the start?
thoughts are everywhere andthat means thereare numerous manifestations taking place simultaneously why not then have great thoughts, work the magic into the World and create abundance for all to enjoy.
