( Cont’d) … The Manifesting X-Factor

Meaning, we hate cute platitudes and over-worn catch phrases as much as you do.

We’ve learned recently - as recently as 4 days ago - that inspiration is truly just a very small part of anybody’s ability to produce - to make things happens for themselves.

And, we’ve always known that it’s not only your actions that count. Come on, let’s face it … how many times have you mistaken activity for productivity? Or, ever seen on-the-fly / haphazard action affect success for you on a consistent basis ?

So, if inspiration alone isn’t the magic trick; if action by itself isn’t the cat’s meow, then what is that hidden X-Factor that can bring about HUGE leaps in your power to create ?

The teacher who revealed this is somebody we’ll reveal very soon, and will even get him to go into detail on the X-Factor you’re about to hear through our travel video; in the meantime, we stopped off on a grassy plateau 12,000 feet above sea level yesterday and the first thought was:

“Let’s give them a preview into the insight we’ve gained, regardless of how prepared we really are to hammer home the details verbally.”

So, here’s to giving you a glimpse into our world - one of business travel, personal quests for self-growth, and constantly being on the lookout for solid teachers for you.

7-minute Video: Mulder and Scully Touching The Clouds

P.S. The insight you’ll learn from the video above will be expanded on in an audio for our Platinum members.

Hey there Barry and Heather,

Don’t you love it in Paradise…the Colorado Rockies! Yes, it is restorative, revitalizing and invigorating.

I live in Lakewood, a suburb of Denver. If you are coming this way I’d be happy to buy you lunch or dinner. And we fellow travelers could have a great conversation.

Joyfully!

Hi there.

Yes. I agree. Well said.

Here’s my own take on this. I believe that everyone we meet teaches us about ourselves.. Birds of a feather flock together and we attract to us people who are like us and who make the same mistakes and these people are holding up a mirror to us so that we can see our own shortcomings in them.

I had a friend, she was a successful lawyer but she was rather passive and avoided confrontation and things didn’t always go the way she wanted and I thought. “She’s teaching me how I go about things the wrong way.” So I thought about confrontation and I came up with this acronym, or mnemonic;

A.C.T.I.O.N.

Actively Confront The Initial Opposition and Negativity.

I printed it out on a card and stuck it over my desk to remind me.

So if the first thing that happens when you begin something new is you get people saying ‘It won’t work’ or ‘you can’t do that’ and these thoughts nag at you don’t push them to the back of your mind. If you do they’ll just stab you in the back when you’re least expecting them!

The negativity is there for a reason. It’s not to be ignored, it’s to be confronted. That doesn’t mean be defensive either. It means saying in effect “Hey! That’s great! I’m going to have lots of challenges and I’m going to deal with them appropriately. I might not know how because this is all new to me and the hows are not my job.

Just as the negatives aren’t my job either. It’s the universe’s job to come up with the hows just as it’s my friends and family’s job to come up with the opposition and negativity.” That’s why I believe that any creation needs three points in order to manifest;

1) The Intention
2) The Opposition
3) The Confrontation

You know, Jesus said “A prophet is never without honour except among his own friends and family,” because it wasn’t their job to honour Jesus. It was their job to say “Hey! Have you thought of this problem or that circumstance?” or “I don’t think you’re up to it!” or “I think you might get hurt doing this!”

If people say that to you then rise to the challenge. Don’t get caught up meeting trouble half way before it’s started, just say “Thanks, I need to know right now how determined I am and you guys are showing me. I know I have the strength and abilities to deal with whatever life throws at me. You guys are all giving me goose-bumps because I want to get started NOW! So, bring it on, life! Bring it on!”

The second part of this is that we’re all great at doing lists of action points and ticking them off as we do them. So we make a list of things and some of them are the things we really want to do and enjoy doing and some of the things are the ones we put off because we hate them or we find them boring and tedious and the list gets longer and longer and the things we don’t want to do right away get put off more and more.

Here’s what I do.

I write the list of all the things I know I need and want to do and I number them in order of enjoyment. I put a ‘One’ on the thing I could do right away and enjoy doing and a ‘Two’ on the task that’s not quite as easy and so on so that I end up with a list of maybe a dozen things prioritised - one to twelve - in order of how easy and fun they are.

The next thing I do is I reverse the order. So I do number twelve first. I might not be able to complete it but I do the research or I make that phone call or I send that email that gets the ball rolling. When I’ve done all I can, I pick a low number - something lower than six but not as low as one. That way, I give myself a little reward with something I can be more relaxed with.

Then I do number eleven, work at it for about an hour - and then I do number four and so on. So I’m looking forward to the really fun ‘Number One’ task that’s getting nearer and nearer. That way, I’m rewarding myself for getting the real stinkers out of the way - but something else happens. I start to enjoy the difficult jobs. The obnoxious client or the time-wasting supplier become fun to deal with because I approach them in a positive frame of mind.

You know how if you put something off you end up resenting it and you take out your resentment on them?

This way you focus on how everything is getting easier and more enjoyable as you go along. And you stop feeling guilty about doing the fun and easy things too!

That’s confronting negatives - by turning them into positives, by turning threats into opportunities and weaknesses into strengths. And the obmoxious client or the time-wasting supplier? This way, approaching with a positive frame of mind you turn the resentment into rapport.

I hope this is helpful.

Best wishes,

Zoe

My wife and I have just watched your ‘Rockies’ video. Perfect timing as my wife has a big decision to make as to whether she should take on a major responsibility!

I can’t say why, but I found the video strangely touching.

Thank you.

How about confronting our effect on humanity? What are we doing, driving, wearing, buying, eating…right NOW that harms others?

Are we to be a civilization that nurtures or one that exploits? What will your part be?

Blessings,

I just want to say, Thanks for the video. I needed it. I have been searching for what to exactly do with all this knowledge that I’ve been gaining, but all I seem to do is get consumed with “wanting more” so I order more books from Amazon and read 4 to 5 books at the same time. I want more and more. But, after watching your video, I knew you were right. I need to get off my butt and get busy instead of reading more. I’ve been in a rut the last few weeks, didnt know why, but now I do; I’m just agitated, I have all this information and nothing to do and my Soul wants to get out there and get busy. So, again, Thank You.

Fantastic. I cannot tell you how it has made great changes in my life. I have not stopped telling my friends about it. The video is wonderful and right down to the point, or top of the world. It is absolutely true in what is being said. I am a Platinum member and I have listened and re-listened to the MP3’s. I am so very blessed to have MOS as part of my valuable tools to success. So much I could say and so much to share. But basically I want to say thanks Heather and Barry.

As a side note. I grew up in Loveland Colorado and know exactly where you are talking about. My grandfather was one of the men to help pioneer Trail Ridge Road. That in itself is a testimony to Success to accomplish such a remarkable road and to share with the world to experience in the beauty. I now reside in Sedona Arizona and that too is grand.

I can’t wait for more stuff from MOS. This is a good addiction to have. Again, thanks.

Hey Heather and Barry

Thanks for sharing that special moment with us! Moments like this: is enjoying purely creation, perfection, joy, apperception and love. This is just a fraction of the universe, which we see exactly at his moment. I’m always deeply touched and “loosing” sometimes my speech…
Thank you very much for all your outstanding work and the shining example, which is set by the both of you. You are truly doer and not just talker!

Hi folks.
Thanks for the VDO and the little heart talk. Right on. I really enjoyed reading the comments from the other folks also.
I actuallt got a little revelation while watching the VDO when you mentioned about being careful not to just buy and read a lot of books and reports about what we are apssionate about, but get up and do some of the things we are learning about and interact with the world and humanity through application of the teachings. Great. I got a nudge in the right direction. Keep up your wonderful work.
Peace.
Duane.
