And even though we know we may be preaching to the choir about self-sabotaging beliefs as they relate to “money and spirituality” (after all, if you thought like the gentleman below, you wouldn’t have paid for “higher learning” content before - yes, we’re taking a stab at it and assuming you have), we’re gonna slap the following story on you anyway 
We’ve said it before, in other places (and even asked mentors about it on our interviews), but we’ll put this amusing (and head-shaking as ever) little fact on the table one more time:
We always have at least 2 to 4 subscribers who effectively come across as “spiritual hall monitors” (or “Ivory Tower snobs” if that packs a more descriptive visual for you) every time we send an email that promotes a higher-learning product that requires them, if they want it, to use their money to get it.
It’s almost an unbelievable thought, but somewhere along their path, somebody or some experience convinced them that teachers and/or marketers of metaphysical information shouldn’t be paid for their time, effort, and energy.

People believe what they want to believe. They find meaning where they can, and they cling to it. In the end, it really doesn’t matter what’s a trick and what’s true.
What matters is that people believe.
And, we use people in the “third-person”, not to insinuate that we’re any different, but only to assume the faith… well… in your powers of BELIEF.
Yet, before you think this is going to be JUST another nice, trite reminder about how “what you believe, you create and experience,” think again.

We were hosting one of our famous 2-on-1 simulcasts a month ago and when we opened up the lines, like we always do towards the end of the call, one of the lucky attendees got a chance to ask their question to our guest mentor.
Our loyal regulars always know our protocol, which is to ask a concise, clear question and then let our teacher answer.
But, for whatever reason, we got a ‘talker’ this time around and it was almost hard to interrupt him. All we could do is listen to a man, from Indiana, tell the most incredible version of a self-sabotaging personal experience.
Meaning, he was pretty descriptively on-target about his current financial reality - i.e., complaining and whining to our guest mentor, like it was acceptable to hog the line, about how hard it is for him to travel and enjoy dormant hobbies because he’s working a 50-hour per week JOB that’s making him, in his own words, “just over broke.”
Not only that, he told us how he’s only 7 years away from retirement age with little or no funds and that Social Security may not be there for him.
Yes, the comments / questions went on and on… “how am I supposed to stay positive and focused when there hasn’t been any improvement with my money situation?”; “the only reason you guys make money is because you sell your knowledge and products…” blah, blah, blah…

Yup… tune into the right media and you’ll be constantly given clues and messages to show you that life is not what it seems. The world around you is full of hidden treasures that you can only see if you open your eyes and your mind… and allow yourself to slide down the proverbial rabbit hole, with exuberance for the impending journey, excitement for what will be revealed to you, and most importantly, without trepidation or fear of what you might find.
Because like it or not, what you’re likely to find is the truth.
And sometimes the truth is a hard pill to swallow - whether it’s blue OR red.

The “One Thing” You Need to Hear… September 2, 2007

So, turn down the T.V, shut the window if you need to, and LISTEN UP !!
No matter how hard life may get, or how impossible it may seem…never stop believing in yourself, never stop loving yourself, and never stop being yourself.
Because as soon as you stop that, you just stop living !
I had a Chiropractor, from somewhere in Washington state, call me out-of-the-blue a few months ago (I forgot that my home office # was plastered on the front page of my personal site for quite awhile) and basically tell me “I need help …I like what you’re writing, and your upfront style. But life, quite frankly, sucks for me Barry. I’m sorta floatin around not knowing what to do.”
I had to tell him that I don’t do life coaching; yet, in a lot of ways, after 20-minutes of talking to him about how precious life is, and about how we’re all here to play the game (as long as we’re having fun while winning and learning while losing - yep, that’s how games work), I ended up DOING life coaching anyway.
When it was all said and done, Mike just needed to hear that somebody believes in him.
And, you do too !
Why do I know that ?
Because, you’re a human being …
We all need somebody to tell us how important we are to them; how we make a difference; how our talents and strengths bring about positive change.
And, yeah, don’t think that I’ve gone all “soft” on ya or that the person writing this is his ’sensitive soul’ while the everyday Barry is sleeping.
Nah, it’s really the completely aware, highly in-love Barry who understands how to SHARE what’s on his heart, not only when the timing is supposed to be right (like writing a prologue to this months video annoucement) but when “life” brings me seemingly unrelated on-the-fly synchronicities too (but, more on that soon).
And, by the way … who am I in-love with ?

I’d protest, “But how can that be? I hate that person because they’re mean, and put other people down, and act as if they know everything.”
Meanwhile someone behind my back would be saying, “I hate her because she’s mean, and puts other people down, and acts as if she knows everything.”
Touché. What goes around comes around.

Positive Thinking up the Yin-Yang August 11, 2007
Posted by Heather Vale in : Beyond "The Secret" Wisdom , comments closed“Why did you guys start Masters of the Secret? Are you just riding on Rhonda Byrne’s coattails? Trying to capitalize on the massive success of ‘The Secret’?” we get asked all the time.
Yes and no.
‘The Secret’ opened up the idea of metaphysical principles, or at least the Law of Attraction, to a whole new world of people who used to think we were crazy when we talked about that stuff. So the movie enabled a lot of people to discover what was holding them back in their lives and make the right changes.
But it also confused and frustrated a lot of people who can’t get their heads around the too-good-to-be-true feel-good vibe that Rhonda insists on presenting to the world.
And it’s those people that we set out to help with Masters of the Secret, where we are dedicated to diving deep below the surface fluff to discover and share the real-world manifestation techniques that actually work.

When you can look back and clearly view all the factors that came together to get you from point A to point B, there’s nothing like it.
To completely KNOW (not just believe) how you intentionally created a desirable outcome is a priceless experience, no doubt !
In the study of manifestation, we often learn to focus on the innner-world, intangible subtleties of life.
And, in the process of fine-tuning that deeper sensory part of ourselves, we sometimes fail to remember that the outer world around us - the people and resources that we have access to everyday - is looking for us to LEAD the way … thru inspired action.
But, look, we realize you’ve heard something similiar to this before. So, we’ll just flat out say:
THIS ISN’T WHAT YOU THINK <—
