We and our heavyweight JV partners told everybody that this free multi-media resource may be the key they needed, the missing piece of the puzzle that would finally allow them to start manifesting what they want.
It’s interesting to note that most of the people we interviewed for Masters of the Secret, and most of the teachers featured in The Secret, subscribe to the doctrine that we create our own reality.
We attract everything into our lives that we experience. The good, the bad and the ugly (if you feel a need to label things good, bad or ugly).
Yes, despite the fact that we often associate “attraction” and “attractiveness” with something “good” and “beautiful”… we do attract it all. So does that mean we attract ugliness and badness… or that nothing is really ugly or bad, it just is what it is?
That’s a debate for another day.
For now, let’s address the question that has been asked of us numerous times over the past few days… did we manifest a server crash?

We truly haven’t seen such heated, cliquish debate on something since the teletubbies got their own Saturday morning cartoons show.
And, while we promise we’re not intentionally trying to ferret out the Tinkey Winkey’s of the NEW Law of Attraction movement, nor their “magic bag of tricks,” we will tell you that sometimes …. well …. things just kinda come up in casual conversation.

“Please Make All My Secret Spiritual Gurus Agree With Each Other” March 16, 2007
Posted by Barry Goss in : Pre-launch Insight , 4commentsSomebody wrote in a few days ago suggesting that our Talking E-book, which highlights excerpts of our complete 20-hour / 200+page audio / transcript package, might be ’stirring the confusion pot’ even more than it already has been stirred.
You see, apparently, in some people’s minds ALL mentors who come together in a collective cause to awaken people via one medium (in this case a DVD that has taken on legs of its own), are ALSO supposed to completely agree with each other.
Some people, in order to be less confused than they already are for making one single DVD their religion, seem to want one road and one vehicle to get to where we, individually, can really all eventually get to … in our way personal way:
Mastery of ourselves thru increased inner-consciousness and awareness of the unseen world around us.
In some utopian-like ever-harmonious reality (somewhere in Perfectville USA) everybody might agree on the same path. And, just because that isn’t happening with some of The Secret teachers, and our site copy and/or Talking E-book might accentuate that in particular places, we’re not, by any means, saying they’re intentionally trying to disagree with what each other said, or provoke their fellow teachers behind the scenes.
That isn’t what is happening, But, what we are telling you and what you might see and hear thru our Talking E-book is this:

Dr. Beckwith Handles Stupid / Skeptical Questioning March 15, 2007
Posted by Barry Goss in : Beyond "The Secret" Wisdom, "The Secret" Videos , 1 comment so farIn our next blog post (it will appear right above this one), we’ll be talking about why it’s important to apply elements of discernment and critical-thinking when it comes to finding out TRUTH - not only in how you interpret something heard or said but how you go about explaining a concept or philosophy to somebody who has a tendency to take things at face-value.
Granted, the interviewer below works for the mainstream media whose job it is to add shock-value to everything it investigates and/or add lines of provoking questions on behalf of the poor innocent masses (in their mind). But, nonetheless, it’s still amazing to us how a lot of viewers think The Secret is intentionally trying to sell them a magic panacea pill to revolutionizing their life.
Thats not what the message was intended to be or, in our minds, is.
Based off many interviews we’ve conducted, we will tell you, via our next post, what some of the key messages really are.
Until then, here’s Dr. Beckwith handling himself very well.

Jerry Springer, The Secret, and You … March 9, 2007

What’s the trend these big talk show hosts are following? Having guests on the show that were featured in The Secret, to discuss… “What IS the Secret?”
Sound familiar?
Well, when Barry and I interviewed those mentors, many of them had never been on a mainstream media show before. They were people who had discovered Universal Laws, had manifested some stuff that they wanted, and were confident enough in their knowledge of the process to start sharing it with the world.
Underground media often gets the jump on mainstream media, exactly because of that lemming effect that has all the major players jumping on The Secret bandwagon now.
Why now? Why a year after the release of the original The Secret movie? Why three years after the release of What The Bleep Do We Know?
Well, I’ve seen the phenomenon many times over 14 years of working in the media on various levels. Every day you can pick up three local newspapers and see the same stories on the front page. Every day you can flip between channels on the evening news and see the same stories being covered. Every day you can spin the radio dial and hear the same sound bites again and again.
Is it because they’re all copy-cats… doing what everybody else does?

UnTold Insight on How To Use The Secret … with Bill Harris March 9, 2007
Posted by Barry Goss in : Live Calls , add a commentBill Harris, one of “The Secret” teachers - the next mentor whom we have lined up for you on March 13th at 2pm EST - is the first person to cause a “shift” in my understanding on what it means to be pursuing the quest for CONSCIOUS LIVING.
I read the following, over 5 years ago, and it is truly a “state” that can be consistently experienced with exposure to NEW studies in Brain Science and the DEEPER application of select universal laws:
“Being conscious means not operating as an automatic response mechanism. It means seeing what is happening, on all levels simultaneously, at every moment, and choosing an emotional, mental, behavorial, and spiritual response based on what is the most resourceful choice in that moment. Unltimately, it means doing all of this automatically, without conscious thought (there’s a seeming contradiction! — being conscious, but doing so automatically). You process all possibilities in a split second and respond in just the right way — not with a preset response, but with a choice that is optimum for the situation.”
And, Bill I can wholeheartedly vouch for is living in this state … er, yep, even when he’s snuck up on at the stroke of NOON. I suppose Bill could have reacted hastily to my Ninja-like entrance in his office a few weeks ago (ah, uhm, I think I was supposed to remind him on my drive up) but he just watched with curiosity (what he calls “being the witness”) as I was fumbling for words to ‘break up’ his in-office lunch.
Hey, I never said that when it comes to finding, getting to know, and scheduling mentors for you, that I’m ALWAYS 100% suave and smooth 
But, it was all good and Heather and I are looking forward to asking him to give us his personal experience and best advise on how to utlize the principles behind The Secret.

For the Love of the Quest (Talking Ebook Gets Lift-off) March 8, 2007

“You don’t have to get it right; ya just have to get it going.”
Yeah, good philosophy - especially is this topsy turvy world of fear-driven thinking, over anal-lyzing, and status-quo / PC-based (not talking about the Personal Computer either) decision making.
And, ya’d certainly think being the inquisitively-open, mentor-mingling people we are, we’d have actually taken that advice to heart (yep, we’ve heard it said, many times, several different ways).
After all, it was back in November, when some of our individual community members were watering at the mouth to get our announced ‘Masters of the Secret’ Talking E-book.
But, here’s the deal: while we SEE the value in not second-guessing our heart, soul and passion in a project; while we understand the concept of good enough is good enough, we both still cringe at the teeth when marketers just put something out there for no other reason than, er, to “get something out there.”
Our now unofficially AVAILABLE giveaway PREVIEW multimedia book was a labor of love and as we ended up finding more and more talented mentors to have highly engaging exploratory conversations with, we just knew we, well, couldn’t be one of “those” typical marketers.
So, the short and skinny of it is that we don’t have any question or doubts at all about the quality of the content inside the 55-min and 20-page book you can now listen to and read.
However technology is technology and we wont deny that there might be a few “unseen bugs” in the plug-and-plug members site we put together for you.

The heavy weight champ of metaphysical movie documentaries, The Secret, has been almost single-handedly responsible for causing a mass-movement in what we like to call “inner world sleuthing.” It, for better or worse, has started to bring out the Sherlock Holmes of Spirituality from once uninterested individuals.
People, everywhere, more than ever, are now openly fascinated with life’s hidden dimensions. What once was thought of as a closed door, off-color form of self growth is now the cat’s meow. Where two forms of research once battled each other for supremacy, polls now show that over 75% agree that science and spirituality are two sides of the same coin.
The mindset is now: “How could we label something as true or valid without looking at or questioning what quantum-psychology and quantum physics is saying too?”
It’s common knowledge that our world has come to be understood through our physical senses. We’ve come to expect that the world-renowned scientists and doctors who find “proof” for theories and cures for diseases do so in a left-brain dominant way. The left brain is linear, rational, analytical, and linguistic. And, by golly, it won’t rest until it has figured out a way to make everything in life fit within the realm of the “completely knowable.”
But, who does the world-at-large lean on when something say, er, “semi-unexplainable” comes to existence in a BIG way?
